1. Proprietary Software Notice

The GenZHook platform — including but not limited to its source code, database schema, prompt-engineering recipes, moderation rule-sets, UI/UX designs, brand assets, documentation, and compiled binaries (collectively, the "GenZHook Software") — is proprietary, confidential, and protected by copyright, trade-secret, and trademark laws of the United States and other countries.

2. No Open-Source License

The GenZHook Software is not released under any open-source license. Nothing on this website, in our public-facing code examples, in browser-shipped JavaScript bundles, or in transmitted API responses constitutes a grant of rights to copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, create derivative works from, or reverse-engineer the GenZHook Software, except the minimum rights necessary to use the Service in accordance with the Terms of Service.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

• Clone, fork, mirror, or re-host the GenZHook Software, site, or brand
• Scrape, bulk-export, or automate collection of GenZHook outputs to train competing AI systems
• Decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from compiled artifacts
• Remove or alter proprietary notices, watermarks, or telemetry fingerprints
• Use GenZHook branding, name, or logos without written permission
• Re-sell, sub-license, or white-label the Service without an executed reseller agreement

4. Trademarks

"GenZHook," the GenZHook logomark, the violet-magenta-cyan gradient mark, and the tagline "Hooks at Velocity" are trademarks of GenZHook. Third-party marks (X, Instagram, Meta, LinkedIn, Google, etc.) are the property of their respective owners and are used only for descriptive reference under fair use.

5. Customer Content

You retain ownership of your inputs. You grant GenZHook a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, display, transmit, and route your inputs solely to provide, secure, and improve (in aggregate/anonymous form) the Service. This license terminates when you delete the content or your account, subject to statutory retention.

6. AI Outputs

Subject to the Terms and applicable law, GenZHook assigns to you all right, title, and interest it may have in the AI-generated outputs produced for your account. You acknowledge AI outputs may not be copyrightable in every jurisdiction.

7. Open-Source Dependencies

The GenZHook Software is built on top of open-source components (Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Supabase client libraries, and others). Each is used under its respective license (MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD, etc.). A machine-readable Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) is available to enterprise customers under NDA at legal@genzhook.com.

8. Reservation of Rights — Absolute & Exclusive

All rights not expressly granted are reserved. No rights are granted by implication, estoppel, course of dealing, or otherwise. The Owner reserves the absolute, exclusive, and unfettered discretion, with or without prior notice and without liability or refund obligation, to: (a) add, change, restructure, withdraw, suspend, deprecate, or permanently discontinue any feature, model, integration, automation, template, brand element, page, AI provider, or any other component or facility of the Service, partially or fully; (b) introduce, restructure, withdraw, suspend, refuse, claw back, or discontinue any subscription plan, tier, add-on, top-up, credit pack, promotion, coupon, gift, voucher, free tier, dedicated/specialist plan, custom plan, partner program, affiliate program, referral program, or any other commercial offering, incentive, benefit, reward, or gift; (c) set, raise, lower, surge, recompute (in real time, daily, or on demand), restructure, re-tier, prorate, cap, floor, or recalculate any price, fee, credit weight, credit cost, FX rate, FX-buffer markup, currency, billing interval, tax/levy/duty add-on, quota, allowance, rate-limit, throughput-cap, discount level, coupon value, promo amount, referral payout, or affiliate commission, partially or fully; (d) pass through any AI-provider, infrastructure, payment, telecom, hosting, tax, or third-party cost increase to invoices or credit weights, immediately or with delay, with no obligation to pass through cost decreases; (e) apply personalized, segmented, A/B-tested, geo-targeted, surge, demand-based, or experimental pricing across users, sessions, devices, or regions; (f) suspend, restrict, or terminate any user, account, organization, integration, or third-party at any time, with or without cause; (g) modify or replace this License & IP Notices page or any other policy at any time with effect upon posting; and (h) implement, modify, or remove technical, geographic, regulatory, or commercial restrictions on access. You bear all FX, currency-conversion, intermediary-bank, cross-border, and rounding risk. You waive any and all claims — including any claim to refund, credit-back, pro-rated rebate, alternative reward, replacement Benefit, or compensation of any kind — arising from the exercise of these rights, except only where applicable mandatory law preserves an unwaivable right and only to the absolute minimum the law requires. This section is incorporated by reference into every other policy and notice published by the Owner. The Owner's Universal Reservation of Rights — Terms of Service section 1.1, the Authorized-Use License in section 1.2, the Benefits Reservation in section 1.3, the Dynamic Pricing & FX clause in section 1.4, the Comprehensive Owner Protections in section 18, and the No-Refund Policy are incorporated into this page in full.
